Get ready to ESCAPE FROM PLANET EARTH.

Quest Island - A History

(NOTE: This is all made up by myself, none of it is true as it is a RCT3 park)

Quest Island opened a while ago as "Marvel Zone" after extensive damage was done to Marvel Island and Marvel Bay Theme Park [they were deleted on my computer]. Several rides owned by the Marvel Parks company were moved to the new Marvel Zone park, and some new rides were constructed. The park opened split into three sections, Aztec Village, County Fair, and Best of the West. The park opened with three coaters, two of which operate today. They were Conquistador (Aztec Village, stand-up), Ghost (County Fair, wooden) and Bull Run (Giga, Best of the West). There were also a number of supporting rides, as well as numerous theme elements.

The park is now undergoing major rehab and refurbishment as part of its conversion to Quest Island from Marvel Zone.

Themed Areas:

1. Questian Village: As visitors enter the park, they enter through the Questian Village. Twin pyramid temples are the center of attention for this section of the park, one of the originals from Marvel Zone (formely known as Aztec Village). Although the Questians were wiped out by the Conquistador (stand-up coaster), many of their relics and inventions still work, including the "God Twister" and "Beached Boat" rides.

2. County Fair: Instantly, park goers are transported to the county fair or small amusement park of their childhood. While hot dogs are cooked, classic rides are ridden, such as our wooden coaster (Ghost), our enterprise, and our Ferris Wheel.

3. Space Center: Ever wanted to visit the future? Well, now is the time. The Quest Space Center has thrill rides for any person ready to seek the future of mankind - including two launched coasters and Demon, who haunts the old abandoned space research building.

4. Asian Empire: Travelers can return to Ancient Asia with pagodas, stone walls, and Asian architecture. They can also enjoy the "Junkboat River Cruise", "Two-Headed Dragon", and "Serpent" rides.

5. Best of the West: While most of the festive West is located here, there also some great thrills, including the new Chubasco Half-Pipe coaster. (Not pictured in the picture, this picture was taken before Chubasco was built. Right now, Chubasco's station is currently used by Wild Stallion. The Wagon Wheel Ferris Wheel has been replaced with "Lasso")

6. Movietown - Enter the land of the movies while being thrilled by "Stuntfall 3000", the park's first Freefall, "ACTION!", the park's first launched coaster, and "Flying Scene", a classic swing ride.

7. Minetown - Enter a dried up old ghost town filled with thrilling rides, including the new Quarry Blaster, Sheriff, and Runoff River Rapids.

Roller Coasters

Questian Village: (former Aztec Village) Two twin pyramids stand ominously over the Questian Village, leaving guests with one question.... what happened to the vill

1. Conquistador - Stand up to the conquering force that took down the Questians.

Best of the West:

2. Chubasco - This swinging half-pipe coaster is truly the "Best of the West"!

Minetown: (expansion to Best of the West)

3. Gold Rusher - our brand new runaway mine train coaster takes riders on a wild journey they'll never forget!

4. Copperhead - The park's hyper coaster truly attacks riders with its abundance of airtime and G's.

5. Sheriff - All the other coasters look up to this - the only coaster who could take down "Destroyer". He prefers to be called "Sheriff", the best outside-looping inverted coaster this side of the Mississippi.

6. Whirlwind Racers - These racers with twin spiral lift hills are a great family thrill for everyone to enjoy!

Movietown:

7. ACTION! - Lights, camera, 80-mph launch into 3-inversion track adventure!

Jungala

8. Eruption - Rider's are pushed into an launched out of a volcano on this, the world's fastest roller coaster!

9. Jungala Express - This new wild-mouse adventure takes riders around tight curves at the base of Mt. Ryan.

10. Voodoo - The fearful power of the voodoo is best experienced here on this thrilling looping floorless coaster.

Quest Air Force Base:

11. Fighter Pilot REFURBISHED! - A newly themed adventure takes riders on a free-swinging journey through, under, and around the surrounding area.

Historical Note: This ride's name has been changed three times. The ride opened as Dogfight, and retained this name and a blue-and-green paint scheme. The ride's name was changed to Barnstormer due to misunderstanding of the term "dogfight". As the park was being converted to Quest Island, the ride recieved an upgrade, including its first station for over 10 years (the ride previously loaded outside), which was themed as an aircraft hanger. It also recieved new theming elements, including two full-sized replicas or airplanes.

12. X-Flight - X-Flight's futuristic design and compact looks make it X-tremely thrilllin.

Quest Space Center:

13. Demon REFURBISHED! - One of the center's abandoned buildings has become haunted by an evil spirit.... by the demon.

Historical Note: This ride opened as "Space Ghoul", and featured some of the park's best theming, including rockets, miniature space ports, and an "emergency" themed station. Due to unpopularity of the ride's name, the ride's theme was changed to "Demon", featuring new queue line music and a new color scheme (now black with white, as opposed to the previous green)

14. Nebula - Feel the rush of stellar speed as you launch out of the station to go through the ride's full-curcuit U-design once, and fall backwards and forwards through the station twice.

15. Escape from Planet Earth - The time has come for all humanity to leave Earth at speeds of 80 miles per hour, but get ready to plummet 90-degrees straight down, backwards.

 County Fair:

16. Ghost - "Ghost" has been haunting riders since the park first opened, and is currently the only wooden coaster in the world to feature an inversion; two inversions, actually.

Asian Empire:

17. Serpent - The serpent's quick and flexible moves take riders over water and over land on this classic "flying turns"-style roller coaster.

18. Junkboat River Cruise - A ride in a Chinese junkboat starts off climatic as riders rise up to an 8-story peak, dive into three drops, and get soaked as well! It's half coaster, half-water ride.

Thrill Rides (16):

Movietown:

- Xtreme Stuntfall - A 14-story drop tower is the place where you, stuntman, will be free-falling from!

- 360 Camera - This spinning Gravitron ride really tests our new 360-camera's ability to spin!

Space Center:

- Centerfuge G-Force - One of our two pendulum rides, this one you are sitting along the inside of a swinging pendulum as you test yourself for space travel.

- The Great American Scream Machine - On this pendulum ride, riders ride along the outsides of this large pengulum, experiencing the thrills of American space travel!

- Space Star - This spinning ride has an extra twist, wave-like ondulations! Hopefully you aren't space-sick already.

County Fair:

- Witch's Wheel - This spinning, ferris wheel like ride flips riders upside down with nothing holding them in but centrifugal force!

Minetown:

- Western Shoot Out - This special free-fall tower uses bungee cords to propel riders into the air, and plummets them back to the ground facing the ground below.

- Demolition Department - This thrilling top spin flips riders upside down as they destroy an old Minetown building.

- Round Up - This spinning ride moves on an axis until riders are almost upside down!

- Rotovator - Riders are pinned to the sides of the spinning barrel by centrifugal force.

Best of the West:

- Lasso - An older model of "Round-Up", themed as a lasso

- The Dunn Mine Haunt - Riders are hoisted up in a mine elevator, but are dropped deep into the Dunn Mine.

Asian Empire:

- Two Headed Dragon - twin inverters flip riders upside down, and hold them upside down

Air Force Base:

- SkyHook 3000 - The park's most modern freefall tower spins riders around as they reach a height of 30 stories, and lets them plummet to the ground
